Mission Statement

Debate and discussion of legislations passed, and policies adopted, are the crucial facets of democracy. These policies are reflected in statutes, bills and other related documents. This Blog seeks to re-look at policies from a fresh perspective. We seek to review and recommend or refute policies that have either come to be adopted, or are sought to be adopted by the State.

Apart from these policy documents, legislations are also guided by judicial pronouncements. To this end, we will track ongoing or decided case laws that have the potential to change the policies on various subject matters by affecting the masses. Fortunately, an increasing wave of pro-active citizenry has resulted in a heightened focus on legal issues. However, there is a dearth of blogs that analyze policy questions on upcoming legislations and judicial decisions.

We seek to contribute our fair share to this discussion by providing a platform to promote discussion of problems, ideas to remedy them and examine all possible consequences of policies that have been passed or proposed.
